Why Amtrak service to more towns and cities is important to the entire U.S.!

The Lackawanna Coalition is a proud organizational member of the Rail Users’ Network (RUN).  RUN’s Spring conference—on Zoom—will highlight the work of rail advocates who are working to expand long-distance rail service in the U.S. Participation in the conference is free for RUN members, $25 for nonmembers (which covers the first year of membership, and admission to the fall conference, as well).

The conference will include a panel discussion on how to actually get a new passenger train running.  We will again follow up with a NJ Transit Connection Tour on Saturday, May 18th—that event is also on our calendar.

Information on the RUN conference, including speakers and schedule, may be found on the RUN Web site.
