Stuck on NJT? Check Out Our Site!

As users of the NJT rail network ourselves, we know that there are times when there are delays or outright service suspensions. NJ Transit has put together a list of “Alternatives, Backups, and Contingency” routes, but with very little context, and in some cases, outright errors. Our Web site now has a list of service alternatives intended for people taking public transit for their entire trip, without assuming that they have a vehicle available to leave in a park-and-ride miles away from their original intended station. Some of these alternative routes are full-time routes, and others are only part-time (either weekdays and Saturdays with no evening service, or rush hours-only). We do agree that it is important for riders to be informed on their “ABCs” and thus we have created our own, more detailed, list for riders’ use. Find our alternatives list here, or simply search Stuck on NJT Lackawanna.
