When is your bus or train coming? If it is after 5 p.m., the phone lines at NJ Transit are closed, so one must rely on the various phone/digital options. How are these data assembled, and what can they tell us?
NJ Transit is known for its opacity, but across the “Hudson Ocean”, the Metropolitan Transit Agency (MTA) introduced a Data and Analytics Blog in November of 2023, and joining us is their Data & Analytics Team Leader, Andrew Kuziemko. Whether you are interested in results only, or want a behind-the-scenes look at how a transit agency gathers and analyzes data, you’ll want to join us to hear what Andrew has to say.
